Gene Cloning & Expression

Gene cloning is the process of making multiple copies of a defined DNA sequence. Since its establishment it has become a core technique in molecular biology, and it enables a wide array of biological experiments and practical applications. Amplifying DNA has also allowed the study of gene expression, including the examination of genetic information transcribed and translated into RNA and proteins.

PromoKine provides an excellent range of tools for gene cloning and expression such as versatile plasmid vectors for convenient cloning and high-level expression of specific target genes of interest as well as plasmid vectors expressing commonly used reporter genes (e.g. GFP, luciferase, beta-Galactosidase).
