PromoFectin-siRNA Transfection Reagent is a novel cationic lipid formulation that has been specifically designed for highly efficient delivery of siRNAs (small interfering RNAs) into a wide variety of cell types - including many known difficult-to-transfect cell lines and primary cells. PromoFectin-Insect reagent is ideally suited for insect cell transfection. It is a unique liposome formulation that has been specifically developed for highly efficient transfection of Spodoptera frugiperda-derived insect cells (e.g. Sf9 or Sf21) outperforming other insect cell transfection reagents in comparison studies. Moreover, less reagent and DNA are needed for successful transfection compared to other currently available products.
PromoFectin-Insect is suitable for transient or stable transfections and provides excellent results in both adherent and suspension cultures. One milliliter of the reagent is sufficient for e.g. 250 transfections in 24-well plates, 100 transfections in 35-mm plates, or 10 transfections with 10 ml suspension cultures and 107 cells/culture flask.
