Genomic DNA Isolation Kit I
The Genomic DNA Isolation Kit I provides a simple and convenient procedure for rapid isolation of genomic DNA from mammalian cells and tissue samples with high yield and purity. The novel method requires less than 90 minutes to prepare highly pure genomic DNA that is free from protein and RNA and is suitable for a variety of applications such as PCR, DNA hybridization, cloning, Southern blot, and array-based experiments.
Genomic DNA Isolation Kit II
The Genomic DNA Isolation Kit II contains a non-organic and ready-to-use reagent for the isolation of genomic DNA from samples of human, animal, plant, yeast, bacterial, and viral origin. There is no phenol step included. The procedure is fast and can be completed in 10-30 minutes with DNA recovery of 70-100% - permitting efficient isolation of genomic DNA from a large number of samples of small or large volumes. The isolated DNA can be used, without additional purification, for Southern analysis, dot blot hybridization, molecular cloning, RFLP, PCR, and other molecular biology applications.
The separately available Plant DNA Isolation Buffer binds the reactive polyphenolic and polysaccharide contaminants present in plant tissues. Mitochondrial DNA Extraction Kit
The Mitochondrial DNA Extraction Kit provides a convenient tool for isolating mtDNA from a variety of cells and tissues in high yield and purity, without contaminations from genomic DNA. The purified mtDNA can be used for a variety of studies such as enzyme manipulations, Southern blotting, cloning, PCR analysis, and amplifications.
PCR Purification Kit
The PromoKine PCR Purification Kit has been designed for the work-up of PCR reactions (removal of primer dimers, primers, nucleotides, proteins, salt, agarose, ethidium bromide, and other impurities). The preparation is based on a silica-membrane technology for binding DNA in high-salt and elution in low-salt buffer. The kit provides a simple and efficient way to purify linear or circular DNA and is optimized for working with DNA amounts of up to 50 µg. Total RNA Isolation Kit II
In the Total RNA Isolation Kit II, chloroform is replaced by 1-Bromo-3-chloropropane (BCP) - thus reducing toxic material handling without any reverse effects on the quality of isolated RNA, DNA, or proteins.
The resulting RNA is suitable for the isolation of Poly A+ RNA or for Northern blotting, dot blotting, in vitro translation, cloning, RT-PCR, RNase protection assays, or other analytical procedures.
The RBC Lysis Solution selectively lyses erythrocytes and is intended for use in the isolation of leukocytes from whole blood. It can be used with the kits PK-MB20-600-50, PK-MB20-400-100, and PK-MB20-410-100.

DNA Gel Stain & DNA Ladders
FluoDNA Gel Stain
PromoKine’s FluoDNA Gel Stain is a non-mutagenic fluorescent reagent that produces instant visualization of DNA bands upon Blue Light or UV illumination of agarose gels.
Supplied in 6x DNA Loading Buffer, it is used to prepare DNA samples and markers for loading onto agarose or polyacrylamide gels. FluoDNA Gel Stain is a highly sensitive stain available for detecting double-stranded DNA (ds-DNA) and contains three tracking dyes (Bromophenol Blue, Xylene Cyanol FF, and Orange G) for monitoring the DNA migration during the electrophoresis process. FluoDNA Gel Stain is an economic, safe and non-hazardous alternative to ethidum bromide. It provides high sensitivity, shows a low background and causes less DNA damage that can improve efficiency in downstream applications such as gene cloning. FluoDNA Gel Stain is the ideal cost-effective alternative to other fluorescing nucleic acid stains such as SYBR Gold, SYBR Green I or SYBR Safe.
RTU DNA Ladders
PromoKine’s RTU DNA Ladders are suitable for use as molecular weight standards for agarose gel electrophoresis. They are very cost-effective and supplied ready-to-use, sufficient for 100-200 mini gels.
The RTU DNA Ladder I displays 11 sharp bands ranging from 100 to 1,500 base pairs. Two bands (100 and 1,500 base pairs) have an increased intensity and serve as reference points. The ladder comes ready-to-use containing Orange G and Xylene Cyanol FF as tracking dyes.
The RTU DNA Ladder II includes 13 fragments ranging from 250 to 10,000 bp with two bands (1,000 and 3,000 base pairs) which have an increased intensity to serve as reference points. It comes ready-to-use containing Bromphenol Blue as tracking dye.
